Special Events
Special events in Roswell are truly electric. From Alive in
Roswell to Youth Day, there’s something for everyone in
our community! The Special Events Division manages
the City’s special event programs including planning and
oversight. Filming in Roswell is also managed through this
team! Learn more at www.roswellgov.com/specialevents.
Parks
Get outside at one of our 28 spectacular parks. We have more
than 1,000 acres offering playgrounds, trails, dog parks and
more. Come see why we are an award-winning park system!
Our parks map can be found on page 10!
Creative Arts
Roswell is dedicated to providing immersive
artistic and creative experiences. The Creative
Arts team, as part of our Cultural Arts Division, believes
everyone is an artist with unending creativity. We strive to
offer programming in a variety of disciplines for all levels,
age groups, abilities and interests, including ceramics,
painting, metal arts, glass arts, drawing, and more!
Cultural Arts
We invite the community to attend special
events and programs focused on connection,
engagement and education. From concerts to puppet
shows, and our award-winning Roswell Roots Black
History Festival, Cultural Arts ensures opportunities for
the whole community to celebrate and reflect.
Historic
We own and operate the three historic house
museums that make up our Southern Trilogy –
Barrington Hall, Bulloch Hall and Smith Plantation.
Our latest home to join the cohort is Mimosa Hall and
Gardens and is the gallant specialty venue you have
been searching for to host your next event. Check
out these homes at www.southerntrilogy.com or visit
www.roswellgov.com/parkfacilities.
